About Our Women’s Only Gym
Body Shape Warringah Mall is a single fitness centre on Level 2 of Westfield Warringah Mall. Not a ladies’ section inside a mixed gym, and not a chain outlet run from somewhere else — one fitness centre, run by the people you will meet at reception.
Why women only
The barrier is rarely fitness
Most women who stop going to a gym did not stop because the training was too hard. They stopped because of the walk past the free weights, or because there was nobody to watch the children at 9am on a Tuesday, or because the only class that suited them was at a time they could not make.
So the centre is built around those three things rather than around the equipment list. It is women only, all the way through. There is a Kids Club on site. And the doors open 24 hours a day, so the session fits the day you actually had.
It is a deliberately unintimidating place. Members range from people who have never set foot in a gym to people lifting seriously, and the floor works for both because nobody is performing for anybody.
What that looks like in practice
Four things we do not compromise on
100% women only
The gym floor, the studios, the change rooms and the sauna. Every member training beside you is a woman.
Refurbished equipment
The gym floor was refurbished within the last two years — resistance machines, free weights, the functional area and the cardio zone.
Childcare on site
Kids Club is inside the centre, from $9.50 a visit, so the 9am on a Tuesday is actually possible.
Nothing hidden behind an upgrade
All 85+ classes, Pilates, the traditional sauna and 24/7 access are in one price.
The people here
The people you will train with
Nutrition consultations and customised meal planning are run by certified nutritionists.
How we run the place
Small things, done deliberately
None of this shows up in a membership comparison. It is the difference between a room you tolerate and one you want to spend an hour in.
Essential oil diffusers
Through the studios and the change rooms, instead of the industrial air freshener smell most gyms have.
No chemical cleaning
We clean without the harsh stuff. You are breathing hard in here — it should not taste like bleach.
Natural mat sprays
Natural sprays for the mats, so wiping down before a Pilates class is not the worst part of it.
Battery recycling
A battery recycling point at reception. Bring yours in when you come to train.

What we are not
Positioning is easier to trust when it includes the things a business has chosen not to be.
We are not the cheapest gym on the Northern Beaches.
There are 24/7 budget chains minutes from here with a lower weekly rate. They do not have a creche, a sauna, twelve class formats or a women-only floor. If price is the only factor, they are the better answer.
We are not a ladies-only section inside a mixed gym.
The whole club is women only, front door in. That is a different thing to a screened-off corner with its own set of dumbbells.
We are not a chain outlet run from head office.
We run this centre. The timetable, the prices and the people are decided here, by the people you meet at reception.
We are not a place that will chase you with an app.
The things that make training stick here are a class you like at a time you can make, and somebody noticing when you have not been in for a fortnight.
