What the week covers
Everything, for seven days
Not a restricted pass. The same access a paying member has, for a week.
The gym floor
Female-friendly resistance machines, free weights, the functional area and the cardio zone. Open 24 hours.
All 85+ classes
Classes across strength, cardio, dance and mind & body. No per-class fee.
The traditional sauna
Members-only, on the same floor. No booking and no surcharge.
Kids Club
The on-site creche, so childcare is not the reason you skip the week you are meant to be trying it.

No guesswork
What your first week actually looks like
The first visit is the hard one. Here is exactly how it goes, so none of it is a surprise.
- Right now
Leave three details
Your name, email and mobile. No date of birth, no survey, no card. It takes about fifteen seconds.
- Within one business day
We call you
A short call to pick a start day that suits you and answer whatever you want to ask before you walk in. If you would rather just turn up, say so and we will note it.
- Day one
Someone meets you at reception
You get shown the floor, the change rooms, the studios and Kids Club, and helped to pick your first class. Bring a water bottle, a towel and shoes you can train in.
- Days two to six
Use it like a member
Come whenever suits. Try a class you would normally talk yourself out of. Pilates on one day and boxing on another is a perfectly good week.
- Day seven
Decide, or do not
Nothing renews and nothing charges, because there is no card on file. If you want to join we will go through the options. If not, that is genuinely the end of it.
Being straight with you
Is this your gym?
We would rather you worked this out in week one than in month six.
This is probably your gym if…
- You want to train somewhere with no men in the room
- You have not been to a gym before, or not for a long time
- Childcare is the reason you keep stopping
- You want classes included rather than charged per session
- You train at odd hours, before the school run or after the children are down
- You are training through perimenopause, or coming back after a baby
It is probably not, if…
- You want a mixed gym. Every member and trainer here is a woman
- You want the cheapest weekly rate on the Northern Beaches
- You are training for a powerlifting or strongman total
- You would never use a class, a sauna or a creche and only want a barbell
- You need a location other than Level 2 at Warringah Mall
The point of a women-only fitness centre is not that men are the problem. It is that you stop thinking about being watched, and start thinking about the set.

The bits people actually worry about
I have never used any of this equipment.
That is what the walkthrough is for. Someone shows you the machines you will actually use and sets them up for your height. You are not handed a card and left to interpret it.
I am not fit enough to start.
Every class has an easier and a harder version of each exercise, and the instructor shows both. Members here range from people who have never trained to people lifting seriously.
I do not want to be the oldest, or the largest, in the room.
You will not be either. The floor spans a wide range of ages and stages on any given morning, which is what tends to make people stay.
I will feel like I am being sold to all week.
You get one call to book you in, and a conversation at the end if you want one. Nobody follows you around the floor with a clipboard.
I cannot get childcare to come and try it.
Kids Club is on site and available during your trial. Bring them, sign them in, and go and do a class — here is how it works.
I will just stop going after three weeks, like last time.
Possibly. That is usually a scheduling problem rather than a willpower one, which is why the week is worth doing properly. Pick the sessions that fit the life you actually have, not the one you are planning.
What if I need to cancel or move my start day?
Call the centre on 02 9939 3311 and we will move it. There is nothing to unwind: no card, no contract, no fee.
Where do I park, and how do I find you?
Ample parking throughout Westfield Warringah Mall. Park on Level 2 and the club is on the same level, opposite Hoyts Cinemas. Directions and a map.
No cliff edge
What happens when the seven days end
The part most trials are vague about, so here it is in plain terms.
Nothing charges automatically
There is no card on file. A free trial that quietly rolls into a paid membership is not what this is.
If you want to join
We go through the membership options with you. Pricing is on a separate page and you are welcome to read it first.
If you do not
That is the end of it. No exit interview, no discount chase, no six months of emails.

Questions about the trial
What does the free 7 days actually include?
Full access for seven days: the gym floor, every class on the timetable and the traditional sauna. Kids Club is open to you too, charged separately. Not a guest pass for one visit — a full week.
What happens when I arrive for the first time?
Come to reception and give your name. Someone will show you around, point out the change rooms and the studios, and help you pick your first class. Bring a water bottle, a towel and shoes you can train in.
What happens when my free 7 days are up?
Nothing automatic. There is no card on file, so nothing starts charging. If you want to join, we will go through the membership options with you. If it is not for you, that is genuinely fine — no follow-up sales pressure.
Is Body Shape genuinely women only?
Yes. The gym floor, the studios, the change rooms and the sauna are all women-only, It is not a women-only section inside a mixed gym.
What if I have never been to a gym before?
You are exactly who this centre is built for. Someone will show you around, walk you through the equipment you will actually use, and help you pick a couple of classes to start with. Nobody is left standing in front of a machine wondering what it does.
Is there parking, and where do I go once I am there?
Ample parking throughout Westfield Warringah Mall. Park on Level 2 and the club is on the same level, opposite Hoyts Cinemas. Westfield Warringah Mall has its own bus interchange, served by Northern Beaches routes including the B-Line.
Last thing
You have read the whole page. That usually means yes.
A few details, one phone call, and a week to find out. If it is not for you, you will have lost an hour and gained a definite answer.
